The Riyadh Metro is a mega-project consisting of six metro lines spanning a total of 176 kilometers with 85 stations¬¬.  The metro will connect the various parts of the city & reduce the traffic congestion on the streets of Riyadh.

Vice supplied the metro stations with Lightway 5 fittings in opal & asymmetric optics. The asymmetric optics allowed directing the light in the favored direction without any backward throw over the glass surfaces, Glare free lighting as the UGR is less than 19. The combination of opal and asymmetric lens provided homogenous illumination.
