In the heart of New Delhi the memorial is constructed by the Indian government to honor the fallen soldiers after independence, the memorial complex spreads over 161874 m2  ; it has various sections including graphic panels and stone murals. The site has a high moral value to the citizens. More sections including a museum, are part of the expansion plans.

Vice was assigned to arrange inground ambient lighting at the memorial complex, providing excellent glare control, and generating dynamic overall lighting effect.
